(Backup Tab)

The Options feature, found under the Tools menu, allows you to customize certain elements of the VersaCheck program.

The Backup option allows you to select how often the VersaCheck program will attempt to create a file backup of your data. The default is set to backup data each time the application is closed. (This is highly recommended to insure that your backups are always the most recent and up to date information.) You may also select On demand which will only backup information when you select the Backup option found under the File menu, or you may select a schedule by selecting Using following schedule and clicking the Change Schedule button.

The Backup directory used to store the VersaCheck backup data files may be changed to a different directory by clicking the Browse button. By unchecking the "Prompt me before backup each time" box you can eliminate the pop up confirmation box that appears when closing the program, so that VersaCheck will back up with out prompting you first.
