Transactions

The Transaction Register screen allows you to look at a list of all the transactions related to a particular account, as well as adding new transactions, and editing or deleting previous transactions. By using the pull down menu directly under the Account Transactions header you can select which account for which to view transactions.

The Account button allows you access to the following account functions:
  • New Account: opens the New Account dialog box
  • Edit Account: opens the Edit Account dialog box
  • Edit Checkbook: opens the Checkbook Setup for accounts which use a checkbook
  • Reconcile: opens the Reconcile wizard which allows you to reconcile an account from bank statements or other records

The Account Transactions screen also features the following options:

  • Transfer: allows you to transfer funds from one account to another account
  • New: create a new transaction record
  • Edit: edit an existing transaction record
  • Mark As: allows you to change the status designation to Unreconciled, Cleared, or Reconciled or to Void a transaction
  • Delete: permanently removes a transaction record
  • Payee: opens the Payees screen

The Transaction Register can be sorted by number, date, etc. using the Sort button or can be filtered using the Filter button.
