Backup Data

The importance of backing up data cannot be stressed enough. For this reason VersaCheck provides two built in methods for protecting your important data. The first is by selecting the Backup option from the file menu, and the second is the automatic pop up box upon closing that asks if you wish to back up your data. It is highly recommended that you back up your data any time you add to or update your VersaCheck accounts!

When the Backup Data window opens you will see two fields. The first, Data file, shows the file to be backed up. This is the main data file with your various personal and account information included. The second field, Backup file, is the backup copy of the information that the program is going to create/update. To create the copy in it's backup data folder location simply click OK. To use another location to store the backup file, click browse and select the folder or location that you wish to copy to.
